A Google help web page in Hindi says the potential to change your Gmail tackle is on the approach. The function would permit you to change your present @gmail.com tackle with one other. Your previous tackle would stay lively as an alias on the account, and all of your information would stick round, unaffected.
The support page (translated) says that “the potential to change your Google Account e mail tackle is step by step rolling out to all customers.” The change was first noticed on a Google Pixel forum on Telegram and was first reported in the press by 9to5Google.
Google hasn’t made a proper announcement about the change. The English model of the help web page nonetheless says you often cannot change your @gmail.com tackle. Up to this level, Google has solely allowed tackle adjustments for non-gmail.com addresses.
