The music of Nobuo Uematsu has been throughout Square Enix games, together with the Final Fantasy series, and an upcoming e book will chart his tenured profession.
On Friday, Viz Media introduced Nobuo Uematsu: On the Report, an “intimate biography” by writer James Mielke. Like the writer’s different biographies—which centered on Hideo Kojima, Hayao Miyazaki, and the late Satoru Iwata—readers can count on Mielke’s chronicle of Uematsu to function perception on his place to begin and large moments of his work as a composer for the aforementioned JRPG sequence, together with Chrono Set off, Blue Dragon, and extra.
For followers of the former, sequence creator Hironobu Sakaguchi will contribute a foreword about his longtime good friend and collaborator.

As Mielke tells it, the e book can be “the definitive chronicle on Uematsu. [It’s] jam-packed with wonderful revelations about the Closing Fantasy composer that the public has by no means heard about, as shared by himself and people closest to him.”
On the Report is one of some biographies about the artist himself slightly than his music: before this, the solely different e book to cowl his life was 2020’s Smile Please by authors Denys Fontanarosa and Jérémie Kermarrec, and that’s solely in French.
Nobuo Uematsu: On the Report can be stocked in shops someday this fall.
