Netflix formally started its crackdown on password sharing in the US. The streaming service is sending out emails to all US subscribers who share passwords with one other person exterior their family to restrict the act. “Your Netflix account is for you and the individuals you reside with — your family,” Netflix wrote in the e mail.
The profile switch function, which Netflix earlier introduced, will now turn out to be useful. The function, when enabled, permits customers to switch their present profile to a separate account.
